To provide you with the freshest possible food, and following our values, we prepare a weekly menu based on those vegetables that can be found in the garden at that time - just as people did in the past. Every weekly menu is a three course meal with three choices for each course. To satisfy the tastes of every customer we always inlcude a vegetarian and / or vegan option, another of meat, and occasionally a fish dish.
Forming and enjoying good relationships with other people is of great importance to us. Inline with this idea we have created a friendly, family environment at Selmella where clients can feel at home, relax and savour the flavour of every dish. In the same way, we also work directly with small producers to keep our business deals at a personal level and support the local economy of the area.
We value the importance of working in a way which repsects the environment. This is why we apply the formula of the three Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle) to manage the products we consume. We strive to have the lowest possible food miles for our ingredients and in the future we hope to grow a wide range of fresh produce on our land for use in the restaurant.
We have designed our restaurant in the hope that people will have a wonderful dinning experience here and also become more aware of the benefits for us and the environemnt of organic, seasonal and local food.
